Ain't looked at razors or hones on ebay in almost a month
The title says it all. I'm on the wagon with ebay buying. I did slip a little bit and bought one that I accidentally ran across a few days ago but one day at a time for almost a month I haven't looked at razors or hones on ebay. I'm trying to collect $ instead of razors and hones.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 3795I'm right with you brother! My wife's pay was cut in half last August and ended completely at the end of April when our lab was shut down. I'm on furlough, meaning even though my lab is gone I'm still getting paid for doing other work till the end of October. Since I haven't found a new job yet, eBay is not something I can afford to be tempted by.

I wish I had the willpower. I'm a little ashamed the number that comes after:
Ended (last 60 days)
Won 19
Amount

My wife got laid off from her job too, and I am selling, not buying razors these days. Hard times, but reality. Some will NEVER be sold, however. Time to be responsible.

Jimmy, are you all right..?
Hehe!
Seriously though, I'm in a similar spot. SWMBO and I are moving house at the moment so every penny counts. I've not bought anything on eBay for well over a month.
I'd love to fuel the RAD/HAD some more, and I've seen some really beautiful razors pass by for great prices which only makes it harder, but I'm focussing fully on the move at the moment.
Heres hoping that when your eBay hiatus ends you stumble across a cache of NOS Eschers and DD Grim Reapers.
And heres hoping that you let me get first dibs on one of the aforementioned DD's...

It has become very rare that I make a purchase off EBay these days. Money is always tight and I have found that I can purchase razors for far less in local shops if I am not looking for a particular razor. We have found some really great shavers from manufacturers that are less or known at good prices as well as well known brands. I've learned that patience is a virtue and a lot less expensive.
Good luck Jimmy!“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)

No wonder eBay sale prices have been a little lower the past couple of weeks!
