    Wow!

    Thats the incredibly rare "3/8 & 6/8" combo razor. Very rare, practically priceless, got it from a mate of my cousin, absolutely legit, should fetch a fortune up in London, honest guv!

    Actually, there were leather scales on razors in the nineteenth century. There was a thread way back where it was discussed. I have (had) a set sitting somewhere- they were ugly and looked very similar to the ones in that auction. You can only really tell that they are leather in person. Odd texture and all that.
