I'm no fool. I posted when I was certain of the financial demand being higher than my desire to have the item. When I posted this I was already done with it. Thought it was an interesting listing that everyone would get a little humor from. I like Double Ducks but I don't Love them. LOL I can certainly think of 100 things I would prefer spending $2500 on which I would get more enjoyment from. This is just ridiculous. In my opinion it was ridiculous at $1000. But there's an old saying. " a fool and his money often part ways" . LOL

What about people for whom it was not yet too high? I think this kind of thread-- posting an active eBay auction-- is really inconsiderate. I doubt it would have hit anywhere near $2500 without this advertising going on. We have to be careful to 'do unto others' and whatnot: What if someone else had posted this while it was under $500?

Tough luck. Bidding is all about who is willing to pay more for what they want. That's how the game goes. Don't try to blame me for what the auction does. Once it gets listed it's out there. It will do what it does. You pay to play if it means THAT much to you.

You weren't so confident in the free market before $500, though!

I'm just saying maybe all of us on SRP need to rethink what we post up.

Financially hurting, Not likely. Again it's all about what one chooses to spend. I pay people $1000 a week to walk my dogs. I'll end this on that note. What's up with the hostility? Did someones goose get cooked? ( pun intended) LOL

Since this thread has gone off track, it has been closed.

Most of this discussion could have taken place via PM and left the instant thread unmolested.
