Thanked: 10I think they are over rated. I picked one up for 5€ at a flee market, Did sedn it out to mr Miller ay strop shop. He honed it and renovated it for 27€ and it is as good as new.
To pay 400 for one of those is just crazy

I like how they shave, so I don't think the shave is necessarily overrated. Price is crazy, though, and I have other ADs to feed.
Given the custom scales, that one may go for a lot. It sold for 450 USD over at B&B on the Buy/Sell/Trade forum and I missed it, otherwise it would have been mine back then.

Thanked: 5The most common complaint I have heard on the EPBD (aside from price) is about the cheap original scales. A Max rescale should put that concern to rest. I have only had 2 razors rescaled by Max but they were perfectly balanced and totally stunning!!
