Another +1 here. I bought a Genco Golden Seal from him a while ago. It came looking brand new and was sharp as all get out.

I've only got DEs from him a long while back, but he's very professional and easy to work with.

I agree his prices are usually pretty high, but you know what you're getting once you buy from him. As well he takes pretty decent photos and lots of them, so it's easy to 'want' something of his over one dirty blurred photo of a similar item at times...

    Default I'm Fattered!

Boy am I flattered! After reading these comments I may have to sleep on two pillows tonight!!! What can I say, THANKS FOR ALL THE COMPLIMENTS GUYS!

As for the prices: I mostly use auctions, so rarely do I set a price on straights ~ Minutes ago I sold/auctioned a near mint beautiful shave ready Joseph Allen & Sons (Sheffield) razor for $73.00.......Which means I lost more than I care to admit. Granted, not all end that low, thank God, but I can say with confidence that anyone, who's willing, can take advantage of my auction format listings and get themselves a great razor at a bargain price...opportunities like this occur all the time; but you do have to be watching to take advantage of it. Plus, all my fellow members here at SRP get free or discounted shipping depending on location; every 3rd purchase gets free shipping regardless of location; and VIP Repeats get unlimited free shipping regardless of location; and I'm always open to suggestions!

Thanks again for all the comments guys, I really appreciate that!

I have purchased some beautiful razors from this gentlemen. The best part, besides a perfect purchasing experience, is you get exactly what you see and his detailed descriptions of the razors are completely truthful. They are definitely shave ready. And as for his prices, it's a sellers market for razors of this quality and his reputation also helps drive the bidding. But as the gentleman points out their are ocassional losses.

Sadly, most of Cedarfunitureman's razors end up out of my price range, but he's been very friendly and responsive to my questions. I still have daydreams about a 15/16" Punktal he restored; it was gorgeous and went for mondo bucks.

Prices are high but it looks like you get what you pay for. His talent is demonstrative of excellence. Probably the best restorer I've seen. One should have no reservations about buying his products because clearly you are not only paying for brilliance but peace of mind, which in the eBay world both attributes stand as priceless commodities. Cheers

Just got a beautifully restored Goldedge from Quinton and am nothing short of ecstatic over both the quality of the razor and the quality of service from him. It's exactly as it was described (probably even better than as described) and is very shave ready. I recommend, if nothing else, just checking his stuff out, he does great work. The only downside is that he's made me realize how much work I need to put into my own restores haha
