I have only been buying straights on ebay a couple months and have not been ripped off or scammed and mostly have been very lucky as most of the items I bought were better than I expected. A lot of sellers don't know anything about straights or their true value so sometimes you can run across deals that seem almost too good to be true.
A month ago I got a NOS Henckels Twinworks for $56. For a lot of people straight razors are ''useless junk'' so when Uncle Bill dies they are just happy to get any money they can for them. At least that's an alternative to thinking than that it is too good to be true and that it must be a scammer which stops you from bidding on the good opportunities.
