Default A rare find on Etsy?

Just for a laugh I did a Google search for "handmade straight razor" and came up with this Etsy ad.

I don't know if this is a good find or if it's even worth it but I thought that this needs to be mentioned here just in case it is a great find that someone wants to grab up. (fyi, I had no intention of buying it myself...too rich for my blood right now)

Not particularly rare.. if it was priced considerably cheaper, someone might pick it up for their first razor.. however, at that price after sending it out for honing you'd be out a hundred bucks..and there are probably nicer razors out there for a hundred bucks

Well it was grandpa's the ad says. Looks like gramps honed it a bit but not too bad at all. You can see it is smiling more than original and the edge is closer to the ribbon etched into the blade that says 'fully guaranteed' because of the wear. Good shavers those. I bet now that it's been posted here it won't be there long.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I saw this a few days ago but didn't feel the need to pull the trigger... Could be the faux tortoise scales that I hate so much...

I actually like it ...but, it's what you feel about the razor. Something about it must have appealed to you, right? And, at the end of the day, that's all that matters
