    I don't see anything that even implies that this is a razor sharpener.

    Now everyone wants to add razor word to their item . This makes them sell for a good price that is why it says razor sharpener. i bet has nothing to do with razor.

    I queried the seller about this item and they replied that is what is stamped on the side of the sharpener and the patent date of 1929. I know I wouldn't use that beast on ony of my razors.

    Looks like an old hand cranked knife sharpener, an old friend of mine had one in his kitchen.

    They're pretty low grit though, around 800 grit or something it felt like, and definately wouldnt be suitable for razors.

    I like the way he's asking $175 for it as well... Somewhat optimistic!

    The stamp on the side simply reads "Dazey Sharpit." There is no mention of razors.
