    Default Hand Made Strop... any thoughts

    Hello all,

    I am in search of my first strop and so far i know the SRD Premium 1 seems to be the suggested "all around" best strop (or so some say). However, there are so many strops around it's tough to make a decision. I will not be trying many strops, i just need one that works.

    I would like some others opinions on this ebay deal:

    Leather Straight Razor Strop 28" Long x 3" Wide, New! on eBay.ca (item 120568799875 end time 07-Dec-10 18:55:41 EST)


    Based on the seller's advertisement it seems like they are passionate about their product. But i don't want to be caught up with a crappy product.

    Should be a good one... I've heard good things about this seller...

    The one I bought off of the "bay" was a POS... I ended covering it in denim last night...

    Yes. They make a good strop.

    I have their "Big Mama" and it works well.

    That's very inexpensive for a strop. Maybe too inexpensive.

    Since my traveling is picking up that looks like a good candidate for traveling so that my SRD strop can stay home.

    Great Seller, Good strop I have the three inch Big Daddy model.
    I did change the hanger on the hanging end, over all great bang for the buck!
