    It's very rare, has silver encrusted text on the handle, AND it's very well preserved for it's age!

    If you do a search for straight razors, highest price first, the majority are buy-it-now offerings from antique dealers. Most the razors would not be worth the shoe leather to walk to the trash and throw them away.
