Thanked: 0Henckels on ebay
I can remember my grandfather using a Henckel when i was a kid, he told me that he had picked it up during the war, there are two Henckels on ebay that i am thinking of watching and bidding on, i was just wanting some assistance in possible authenticating them, with this much time left on the bid i am sure they are going to go up substantially but we will see... any help is appreciated.

I remember somewhere recently there was a thread about the ones with a single twin possibly being late production and low quality, but I cannot remember the specifics.
Either way, I'm sure they will both get expensive.

Looking at Zwilling's site I found these logos:
ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS :: Company profile :: The history of the ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS brand
Never a separated twin.Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose. Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr.

All razors on that page will go for $200.00 +.... IMO the single twin looks fishie to me, but I really don't know that much about them, except reading links and there home page doesn't show a single twin, fine looking razors though. JMHO

I've done my fair share of readings regarding henckels chef knives, and if there is any correlation between kitchen knives and razors, I would avoid the single twin. In the knife knife series, the single twin represents their international line-up, which is much less expensive and of much lower quality. However, what's throwing me off is that on the international logo, the twin usually hold a trident style weapon, and on the razor you linked, he isn't.
Either way, safe bet is to stick with the actual twin logo, which we all know and can confrm is a stamp of quality.
