I've only had one bad experience with eBay. The seller described the razors as Bright Shiny and excellent. THere were 2 in the one sale. I was really interested in "A", but "B" was in pretty bad shape.
I gave him a less than perfect rating for item description.
He emailed me a nasty gram that said I should have contacted hi first and asked for my money back. I told him he should have described the razors more appropriately. I guess I screwed up his perfect 100% rating... Actually HE screwed up his rating.

I wrote to him and told him the razor could not be repaired, sharpened or saved in any way. I was nice about it too. He responded with a very snotty sarcastic response. Oh well, can't win them all.
You can use it as a nice beer opener. It's got that perfect notch .

In all seriousness, I had a bad experience one time from an eBayer (won't name names). I asked a very simple question...what I got was a paragraph about how stupid and ignorant I really am and I should learn how to read, etc, etc, etc.

When I looked carefully, I found out that he a devout Christian (and I praise and respect that very much)...problem is my eBay username is Darwinian_Evolution and I think fact, more than my question, was very unsettling for him. oh well...what can you do, right?

Some people are pro-active and some are re-active. Don't be the latter. Don't worry about this auction...there are many, better razors to be had on eBay.

I don't know about some people.

While I tend to do my own research, I welcome updates... assuming I can verify the facts given.

If so, it sounds like he was more concerned with who you were than with who he was

Hey guys: this is a unique razor with a lip notch! Don't slate it, the day will come you wonder how you ever managed without one!

I asked the seller if the razor was shave ready, because you can never be too careful.

CMon, guys! The guy did not misrepresent the item in any way in my opinion. The blade is there for all to see. Besides, somebody, somewhere needs those scales! Just an opinion, of course!
