    Default Bismark on craigslist

    Hi all,

Back home for a bit and was looking around craigslist and stumbled apon this razor, it just says its an antique bismark razor for $20. Looks old, but have any of you seen one like this before. Would it be worth a short drive to get it? Thanks

    Brian

Not a very good picture, but yes. $20 is a good price for a vintage Bismarck.

    Bismarcks are great razors.

Default Looking to learn about my Bismarck

I just bought a vintage Dovo Bismarck on ebay. Wondering if anyone knows what the description means.
It says: "Up for auction is a vintage DOVO Straight Razor from the Wilhelm Drache era.

The blade is 9/16" (little bigger than 4/8")
and marked "26", "WILH. DRACHE", "ESSEN-WEST" on one side,
and "DOVO REGD" on the other."

Does any of this age this blade?
Does it mean anything to any of you that it wouldnt to me?
    Thanks,
    Trent
