    Default paneraiguy strikes again !!

Item number:400191044789, in case the link doesn't work ...

My first Ebay purchase was a Henckels 81.

I scored it for less than $20, inc. shipping. Just stropped it and shaved out of the box.

Since then, I am always watching out for one.

I've seen a few pop up here and there and they are usually torn up pretty good with a high price tag to boot.

Although I am currently not in the market, I thought I would share.

These particular blades aren't common and this one looks well kept and/or restored. Regardless, it is a nice example.

Don't worry, this isn't my auction or my razor.

I seem to just buy - and not sell - razors.

You are allowed to link to your own auctions, so that wouldn't have been a problem.

I find that razors from paneraiguy are a pretty mixed bag. I bought from him a few times and we actually spoke on the phone. I got the sense that he knew about the big name brands but didn't really know about razors. On the plus side, his photos are pretty good, so you usually know what you're getting into.
