Thanked: 21pulling a fast one?
Straight Razor Vintage Taylor Sheffield England - eBay (item 290522432049 end time Feb-11-11 12:19:24 PST)
290522432049 ebay number. Is it just me or does this look like a frameback in the main pic. Then if you look at the other pics it is a different blade altogether. I was just looking at all the blades just to drool no intent of buying any.

Saw that! Started to say something, but decided it wasn't gonna help!
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Wow, some great close ups. Of something. I just have to wander why. Two razors, those "closeups".

Thanked: 1371I think it's a wedge with a framebackoid strip mounted on the front, as evidenced by this picture:
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Thanked: 4Feh!
Typical Ebay ignorance!
'rare' = I've never seen one before
'Super rare' = there isn't another one on ebay at the moment
'horn scales' = some kind of real old material they had way back then before plastics were invented even though I don't have any kind of an idea what 'horn' is (cf. 'bakelite')
'no cracks or chips' = well, I can't see anything or even tell you whether the thing has any use left after 80+ years over over-honing.
Think I'll stick with folk I can trust, like Larry at Whipped Dog
