I have a feeling that we may have to team up to get anything...we will have to wait and see. I've registered and am watching a few, but no emotions on any of the razors watched...so if they go higher than I think they are worth, I'm out. As you all know, I'm a tightwad. We will see...good luck to you all and any you are interested in...

I just hung up the phone from a conversation with Mr. Doyle, a fellow Auctioneer. I alerted him to the fact I posted this thread and told him to expect some very enthusiastic collectors and users of straight razors to be interested in his sale. He was very pleased that our global community of enthusiasts know about his sale. We swapped some great stories that included how he purchased Judge Lummus' collection. He invited me to visit and see the 4000 razors that he is not currently selling. Wonderful Gentleman!

make sure you read there rules.
15% buyers premium and the bid increments are set.
"Shipping up to the first 5 razors will be shipped priority mail for $6.95. Large order shipping costs to be quoted after auction. Pick up of items must be made by March 16th at 4PM."
Some nice razors and saw several with what looks like cracked blades.
It will be interesting to see what they go for.

I wouldn't do the story justice. Perhaps Mr. Doyle will join us soon and tell it and more.

I like the Clark & Hall w/ bone scales... it reminds me of one I currently have... Doyle's Auction pic first.... My C&H w/ bone scales next... Maybe not twins, but at least first cousins...
