Thread: Monkey Tail!

I have one just like it. It's not exactly one of my favorites. It is more difficult to hold on to while shaving because of the long tail and shorter blade. It takes some getting used to. I also have a Williams with the long tail but it's easier to use because the blade is normal length.

Thanked: 267Williams' slightly longer monkey tails are very nice, they really make it nice to shave with a 1/4 grind.

I love how mine shaves. Yes, i is much smaller than you think (tail to toe is the same as a standard razor, so that gives you perspective), so it takes some getting used to. But I loved how she shaved.
Mine is a De Pews that Max restored for me.

I had one which took an average edge and gave a respectable shave. I have never experienced a corn razor's edge, having never seen one in fact, and do not know if they can take an edge worthy of a wet shave. If they can, there's no evidence to my knowledge which would act contrary to me inferring due to the Depew's design that they were intended to be used for corns. Microtomes apparently give good shaves also but there it known to many that shaving was not why they were created.
