    I personally wouldn't call it dark either. When I describe a stone I always use the dry state. It doesn't really matter of course

    The texture looks a bit like this 5x1" boxed Thuringian I had. Pretty fine iirc.

    Well i would call it dark because it is dark when in use , unless somebody will try to hone a razor on dry stone.
