    Not only a repin but looks like the damage was filled in with sodiered metal or something.

    Yeah , I saw that too . I thought it might be damage from the hammer . Pretty crude workmanship (if you want to call it that) .

    I also see that nothing stamped on the tang matches anything on the scales . Which makes me think the blade may not be original to the scales . It looks like the scales may be silver , or maybe not . Except for the damage , they are an awesome set of scales

    I bet we don't. Nice scales/razor that a hard-core collector will out under lock and key.

    I agree the blade has been changed, and by someone not very skilled at peening. The blade looks a little short for the scales.
