    Default Failed Snipe

So I have been watching an Torrey on ebay for the past day or two. Watching and waiting for the auction to come to an end. So today i login with 8 minutes left and start watching the countdown ready to try and snatch this thing up for a song.

Well with 4 minutes left a customer waks into the store and chews up 15 minutes of my time. Auction ends, razor sold for $16.00 and I could not even get a bid in on it....

    Too bad!
Why don't you look in to one of the web based services that will handle the sniping for you? Or possibly get a software that handles it?
I use a little Java programme who handles this for me. I live In a country who are 6-9 hours ahead of the US, so I'm usually sleeping when all the cool auctions end.
    A useful tool to me.

One of many available options is Gixen. When I bought stuff on ebay, it was all I used and I never had any trouble with it.

Gixen is my auction sniper as well.

There's plenty of automatic bidding options available. I use snip.pl

I use eSnipe. It works great and is very reliable. I'm in the same boat as Birnando, being over on this side of the pond I'm usually asleep dreaming of razors and hones to buy when the auctions end..!

I use Gixen and it has only failed to fire a snipe on me once. Fortunately it wasn't for a razor I really wanted.
