Community Idea
I had an idea recently that I've been meaning to post. I'm actually not sure if this is within the rules to discuss so I apologize for any infringement.
I know many of us use eBay either to buy or sell shaving equipment such as razors, hones, strops, you name it. I came across an auction or two recently using the little ribbon which signifies that part of the money from the auction will be donated to a charity of the seller's choice.
My idea was to maybe have a post each month where we could vote between a few charities (I'm sure there are other ways to do this) and each of us who list an item on eBay can donate some money to the selected charity (as a portion of the item sales). This could also act as sort of a marker when browsing through the listings. If you see an item being sold with the logo of the selected charity, there is a good chance you'd be buying from one of the forum members.
This is just a good way to give back to the community in a small way. I know the eBay and PayPal fees are already pretty large but I believe you can select the percentage given to the charity.

I have always found that if I want to purchase from a member here its very easy. I am certain every time I go to the classifieds on SRP everyone selling anything is a member. I would also think members here listing on eBay are looking for top dollar for the hard work they do. The prices on the classifieds are way better than eBay for a shave ready razor anyway. I see your auctions do not have ribbons for charity why wait for others, lead the way and follow your convictions.

edit: forget the idea. Thanks Jim for supporting charities, I'll be doing the same in the near future once I pick one I feel strongly about
