    That is a "hair shaper". Not a straight razor intended for shaving. Note the title on the box and on the razor "coiffeur". Translates to "hairdresser" in English. It looks to be a 4/8 but may be even narrower. Here is a photo of mine. Good shaver but not worth what the fellow in that auction is asking. IMHO. Name:  cmonfilly2.jpg

    I didn't notice Quinton was the seller. Yes he is A+ as far as I'm concerned. Still, the razor is a hair shaper and unless the buyer really likes shaving with skinny blades it is what it is. I wouldn't care for it but some like the narrow blades. YMMV.

    I have bought a few items from Quinton, the latest being an Escher, and if he says it is so.......it is. Quinton may not be the cheapest, but like an ol' friend of mine used to say.....IT DOESN'T COST THAT MUCH MORE TO GO FIRST CLASS!
