Default Art of Shaving in the UK

    Hi guys,

Not really sure this is the right place to discuss this, so moderator(s) please move this post accordingly.

I just wanted to ask if any of our US members can suggest a good place that sells the Art of Shaving's excellent "Ingrown Hair Night Cream" that can ship to the UK at reasonable prices.

P&G, the new owners of AoS have pulled all AoS from the UK market and there are now no vendors that sell this in the UK.

    Suggestions please?

    Many thanks in advance.

Shipping to Europe is always going to cost you, but I've found Amazon reasonable and would start by checking one of the Amazon vendors. Here's a LINK to that particular cream...

By the way, I'm not familiar with this cream, but other products I've bought from AoS (shaving oil and cream) have definitely been second tier quality. Your native Truefitt & Hill and Old Bond street products have always worked very well for me!

Thanks for that. Amazon.com was also suggested to me on another forum and I think I may be going for this option. Seems like the safest one too, given that Amazon is a place that you can trust with at least a method of complaining if this don't go right.

Granted, with respect to your comment on other products being out there. I agree too that not all items in the AoS range are top quality, but the night cream really is one that I've stuck to and got excellent results with all along. Completely agree with you on the face wash, scrub, shave creams and pre-shave oils were nothing special.

Thanks, Russ. Looks to me like those stores are cashing in on AoS's withdrawl from the UK. At £44 the second Amazon.co.uk link is a rip off, even compared to the US store's price. Back in the good old days I could get this for £24 from Executive Shaving, with 10% off and postage on top of that. Now all gone of course...

    Rum,

    You are right !!

It seems that most of the stores that stocked AOS products are running down their stocks - I wasn't aware that AOS were withdrawing from the UK.

    Good luck with your search

    Have fun !

    Best regards

    Russ
