Ah, I spotted the oversized part - it's the price.
Mind you, you might have to hold that thing with both hands while shaving. No stretching, just grimacing

Well it is free shipping. IIRC this was on ebay awhile back and was brought up in a thread. If I was a rich man I would have that baby over the mantle ..... I don't have a mantle because I'm not a rich man but, if I was I'd undoubtedly have at least one mantle if not a collection of them.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

*sigh* if I had the cash...
I noticed this the other day, pity the castle museum don't take it as the shop no longer exists.
It's the same shop that J.M.Smith razors come from in High Ousgate here in York which I believe is now a trendy clothes shop called Fat Face. There was another razor shop in Church Street which is now a milkshake bar or something. The only shop selling new razors now is a tabaconists selling Dovos in Coppergate. (bit of info for you there.)
Such a shame..
