Shouldn't this read "Collection of 7 beat up scales"?

Very poor condition. Even a seller who begins his description telling prospective buyers he doesn't know anything about straight razors should recognize that. Sheesh ! The Bartmann, and a couple of others are text book cases of cell rot.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Ouch. What a "collection." There's perhaps one decent razor in the group, and given the condition (destruction?) of the others, I wouldn't trust what I see for even that one.
Thanks for the good laugh!

That might be a bit harsh. View the asking price and see if you don't get a good laugh.

I like the description where they say something to the effect , that the razor has no markings , but it has to be a rare one . ROFLMAO .
Greetings , from Dundalk , Maryland . The place where normal people , fear to go .

Collection of 7 Important Straight Razors
I am not a collector and cannot describe these very well. look at pics closely and email me if you have specific questions.
dubl duck Magic. Very good condition. Slight crack in handle at rear top. Marked Union Cutlery Co. Olean NY
Electric Cutlery Co. No other marks i can see. Very very good condition. No chips or cracks or even rust.
No marks. Black handle with straight blade. No notches in blade. I'm sure its a sought after brand. The collector I purchased these from organized these 7 together.
Columbia Cutlery Co. Worchester Mass. Extra Hollow Ground Top of handle near blade is broken.
Bartmann Germany. There is more writing on blade but I'm afraid to try to remove rust to see it.
No marks. This is my favorite razor of the bunch. Ivory color handle (probably celluloid) which what looks to be actual ivory holding the blade. Is is monogrammed with a B on the blade.
W.R. Case and Sons . Celluloid tortoise shell handle.
Email if your the buyer and let me know if you want the display case. If not I can significantly lower shipping cost. Case is just cardboard with a glass top. Nice but heavy. IF YOU WIN WAIT FOR INVOICE TO PAY SO I CAN ADJUST THE SHIPPING COST.Last edited by carazor; 08-26-2011 at 11:25 PM.
