Thanked: 0Joe
I haven't had any dealings with this seller but I do know a guy in Sydney who has brought from him and speaks highly of him.

I bought 2 razors from him that I wish I had looked at a bit closer...
He was a little, shall we say, free with his descriptions. But I should
have paid more attention, but I really wanted a Double Arrow.
Since that time, he has apparently left ebay, and set up his own
web-site. Once he set up shop, he started sending me email every
week or so promoting some razor, book, or whatever he was selling
at the time. I asked him to remove me from his mailing list, and haven't
heard from him since.
Here's the thread I started about my transaction, probably where you
remember it.

Maybe it wasn't cool to include all text of our exchange in the thread...
Any advise on that

Well, so far, I'm not impressed. He's shipping from Houston to Louisiana. That's 2 days, maybe three if the P.O. is backed up. I paid for it last Friday, and still haven't received it. No response to 2 messages, either. I try not to be impatient, but I'm very well aware of how long it takes (generally) to get from point A to point B via the post office. I, for one, will never buy anything else from him again, and won't recommend him to anyone. Will probably discourage anyone else, too, should they ask. I detest folks who won't communicate after they've taken your money.

Finally got hold of him. He advised me his ebay account had been closed, and he didn't even realize he had been paid for the razor, and so, never sent it. He assured me it would go out tomorrow. Still poor business practice, but hopefully it's going to be resolved amicably.

Well, just to update, this cat still hasn't sent my item. He got his knickers in a twist when I threatened to file a dispute with paypal. That's the only way he responds to emails. He then said he wouldn't answer any more from me. I had to file a claim with paypal today for this razor. This guy's a total bitch. Avoid at all costs.

Wow, what a ripoff artist. I wish there was a way to put him behind bars.

Sorry to hear about this Joe, but thanks for passing it along. What are your chances of getting your money back through the paypal dispute process?
Hopefully he won't turn up there again with a new account and identity.
