    The pics are too dark and fuzzy. If I were to sell a razor and describe it as having tortoise scales I would be sure that it could be seen.

    Not that it doesn't happen but for sure it is against ebay listing rules to sell actual tortoise shell as well as actual ivory. which i why you see ppl say stupid things like "natural from a large land animal, not bone" and the blah but as the others said the pic is horrid so i would bank on it being faux!

    Even if the scales are of genuine shell, they would have been made from a turtle's rather than a tortoise's
