okay, with the current interest in straight razors from all over the world now, it seems that everyone is out to make a few sheckels...fair play,some will do better than others obviously, but thankfully nobody bid on that...lol

Having read the article in detail i will paste here the bit I liked the best...

The handle is made of wood and appears to be hand-made. They really done a pretty good job of replacing the handle that came with this razor. This would be a fantastic addition to anyone's collection of straight razor or a fantastic conversation piece.

Im now trying to imagine the conversation among two people....check out this collectable. aint she a beauty, only cost me my left nut...my mantle piece was just bare without it, I cant imagine how i did without it..

Then of course theres the hand made issue, i wonder who told him?

Im so glad that my limited scale making is a little better than that...lol..and if it was like that I think id keep it to myself....

Maybe someone should tell him....

Reminds me of the ruler-scaled razor, but the writing was much more imaginative. I loved the old craftsman bit

That looks like another razor that someone tried to turn into a knife. Either that, or one of us threw it out after learning how to hone.

That is really sad; I have a Henry Dunner “Matchless” razor that looks good and holds an edge wonderfully. Ah well, I guess some straights have to be sacrificed to butchers.
