Well my recent acqusitions have all been within my skill level to fix up. However the one I'm currently be bidding on will need both your expertise and the help from the guy upstairs. However, if I do restore it with a certain degree of success, it will be both a looker and a great shaver.

I have to admit that I like the list and looking at the problems. Lately I have been spending far too much time on ebay looking and trying to evaluate what I like and what I do not and this list just adds thing that I need to watch out for. I still need to pick up your cd (thanks to a couple of “group deals” that I picked up for one good razor. I ended up with a number of “bad” razors in order to get the one that I wanted. The worst has the spine honed to death, a smallish chip, blackening of the tang and some considerate person took the black off of the blade with either 50 grit sandpaper or a bench grinder. If there is ever a “worst blade” thread I plan on submitting pictures and winning.

I think that I have found one advertised as “ready for that perfect shave” that may just make the list of worst blades; http://cgi.ebay.com/DERF-Hamburg-Rin...QQcmdZViewItem
If it really is ready for "that perfect shave" then I'm growing a beard!

Actually it's not TOO bad as this hone wear came from a lot of use, but I don't tolerate anywhere near that amount.

I must admit that I dropped the $10 on the double hollow as a restoration project. I'll keep everyone updated.
