    any chance that could be a corn razor? I'm not sure that it would be a mustache razor. I've got several books about razors and I've never seen a photo of a razor like that.

    The idea that it's an ivory piece (which it looks to be) with a replaceable blade system makes me think it would be a corn razor. It also appears to take the older single edged razors rather than the later DE blades, as a shavette would.

    Still an interesting piece.
