    Default Mail Forwarding Services

Hi Guys - Forgive me if this has already been covered - but as someone who lives outside of the USA (New Zealand), Im often barred from bidding on particular Ebay auctions and the like, or pinged with excessive shipping costs (have reluctently paid $30.00 US before without any tracking!) when International services are offered. And while many frienly sellers are more than happy to modify their auction to accomodate my bids, there are always those who see it as an opportunity to charge whatever they like. With that said, does anyone here (living outside the US) successfully employ the services of a mail forwarding company for US purchases? Is there one that comes highly recommended? or do I make friends with the mailbox of a friendly US SRP'er?

P.S. my partner is highly interested in this too as it would allow her to buy MAC makeup brushes from the US web store - I dont know why she needs more than one, she only has one fa... oh crap. lol

I use Aramex, "shop and ship".

They give you three addresses, UK, US and China.
It can get a little expensive, but it's very reliable. You are notified by email whenever anything arrives in your account and you can then track it on line.

I have had a couple of issues. The US guys, can be a little over zealous in their interpretation of "Unnaceptable Materials", this seems to include all Knives and Razors. Their argument is that such items are banned in my country of residence, of course that isn't the case, but it has led to some inconvenience on a couple of occasions.

Other "Unnacceptable Materials" are liquids (After Shaves). To be fair to Aramex, they do list the items that they do not like to handle.

I believe DHL offer a similar service. You can check them out on line.
