    There are several Filarmonica razors on eBay at any given time. I don't understand why everyone jumps on them the first chance they get. I guess the demand is out there but honestly, they come up so often that everyone is right in saying that you might as well get a custom.

    I guess we have to keep in mind, though, that while I'd prefer a custom that is the exact razor I want, someone else is thinking "well I can get a custom any time, these things aren't being made anymore."

    what is with what looks like a rubber piece on the tang.. wouldn't that wear and break eventually?

    Eventually it m,ay, but in the meantime that little rubber grip can help a lot with wet fingers.

    It will last much longer than it takes for the tang to rust in two, from what I have seen.

    It's funny you posted this. I ran across this razor on ebay when it was under $300. I watched it because I knew it would sky rocket.

    Personally, for me its all about the shave and would never pay 1/4 of that price for a razor, would i like to try one heck yes but definately not at that price, and anyway ive seen philly go for a lot less then that people jump on these like eschers stone like they will never see another one again!!! And they always got a few here and there up for sale!!!
