Thanked: 108NOS Filarmonicas on ebay
Just a heads up for anyone looking for a Filly - someone's just put up twenty or so NOS Filarmonicas on Ebay, for $35 a piece which seems like a good deal next to classicshaving's price. Half are #12's, half are #14's. $5 shipping.
They're going pretty quick.
Can anyone tell me the difference between a #12 and a #14? #14's the big one, right? What's a #12?

They're all gone.. Eventually I found out that 12 is most likely 6/8 and 14 = 8/8. It was too late for me to include an 8/8 into my rotation but I lucked out on the #12 so I'm not complaining. All gone now.

I missed them. I could've picked up the #12 but wanted the 14 which was gone. I couldn't believe that deal. Hope it's legit because the pic on the #14 was the #12 pic. Some people picked up three 14s. Yes I know who you are.

Smart move on Roberts part. Use one, sell the rest. Or maybe he just picked me up one because I was at work? Wow that was nice of him.

Thanked: 324Too good a deal to pass up. I've got one 14 and it is an 8/8 and is one of my favorite razors. So now I'm only three away from a 7 day set. Of course, there's always a chance of getting ripped off somehow, but the feedback was good and at the price, I thought it was worth the risk.

Thanked: 324By the way, I may end up selling every razor I own if I can forge 6 more that come out like my first. Right now, I'm tickled to say, the one I forged myself is the best shaver I own. I was hoping it would be a decent shaver but it surpassed my expectations by leaps and bounds. Now I'll have to see if it was a fluke or not.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I got one of each. I'm glad I moved quick on this one, though, they got snapped right up.
I have the Filly's that are on Classicshaving, too, so that means I now have #s 10, 12, 13, 14... I guess they go in order of size. I never did get around to honing the other two, so maybe I'll see about sending the whole "set" to Lynn.
