Thanked: 56It says in the rules that this part of the forum isn't for posting your own auctions. It is for asking questions about auction items. It just annoys me that if I post my website in a post for somebody to check out a razor (so they can compare it to their own NOT to sell it) my msg get's pulled, but when a vendor breaks the rules it's OK.

Here's the applicable part of the rules:
Solicitations, valuations, and sales
These are not allowed on Straight Razor Place, including the Chat, except in the Vendors and Auctions sections, and the Classifieds, under the respective rules.
SRP's aims to help members in all aspects of wet shaving and straight razor techniques, it is not a marketing site. Furthermore the nature of appraisals, be they for items or services, is highly subjective.
Linking to eBay sales is permitted but limited to the Auctions section. However links by members with inadequate forum participation are considered 'drive-by marketing' and will be removed.
I have highlighted parts of that section.
Now, may I suggest you read thru that one more time.
King2011 has done nothing wrong with his post.
Here's the link to the full set of rules from the Library:
