    Default Babe Ruth razor?

While perusing eBay for the latest and greatest I came across this:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Babe-RUTH-Vintag...QQcmdZViewItem

I can't find any information about this razor. Is this razor truly worth that price or is it hyped solely by the seller?

Looks like a decent enough razor for a $10 project but what that guy's asking.. Reminds me of the $100 Gilette Fusion lol.

Did you see all the other Babe Ruth stuff he's selling? That razor is obviously priced for the Babe Ruth collectors market and has very little to do with the value of the piece as a razor.

It's like the old DE blades with ads on them. Coca Cola razor blades can sell for a few hundred bucks, but really if you aren't a Coca Cola collector, the only thing you'll gain from those blades is hep. c. The value changes based on the market.

A little thin a silhouette to represent the Bambino don't you think? Maybe they are trying to flatter him.

Yep, there were many , many razors made with different names on them. I imagine it was the early equivilent of the watch companies paying people to endorse their products. Who knows maybe in 70 years or so my son's pair of Air Jordans will be worth a bundle.

Maybe the next razor he will list is the "fat" bambino!

He's posted that thing about 4 times now that I'm aware of, and I don't think it's never sold.
