    Default Blade Issues?

Does anyone else notice anything funny about THIS blade?

Either nothing and reflecting something on table or heat discoloration

Could be heat discolouration but sometimes oil will rainbow like that too. Best to ask the seller if it wipes off or not.

I had a blade with similar tarnish, and a similar rainbow look to it. It cleaned up with a little metal polish and a rag. Wasn't heat related, but I can't tell you how it formed.

    Edit:
Hard to tell if thats buffed or tarnished. Crappy pics.

Those are all good points. It looks to me like the blade has rainbows on both sides. Just don't know if I would trust it without better/new pics.

I think the rainbows are caused by the stand breaking the light. Looks fine to me.

Some types of polishes can cause discolouring if not wiped off properly.

That being said, the rainbows are really just that: the stand is breaking the light, which you can see as a rainbow on the blade on both sides (note that the stand is made out of transparent plastic/glass).

+1 on the above. It looks like reflections.

    It's got nice scales too.

I just bought this one. It's either reflections or the edge is rusty. I'll find out soon.

I believe it's reflections. I noticed almost the same thing on other razors he has pictured.
