I'd say the original user/owner had the point removed myself, as well as seeing a bit of uneven hone wear that would have added to the shape of the toe, I can see some jagged and some wire edge. So I fail to see how the writer can say it is a fantastic shaver, or what not, if that is the conditon of the edge when he used it. Unless he has wire bristles for a beard and that is how he gets a razor to look after shaving with it.
