Thanked: 884I used to sell a LOT of scooter oriented crap on ebay. As has been mentioned, GOOD PICS!! A good, description is a plus. State the facts and the flaws. Be precise, but not overly verbose. I've made some good buys from crap pics and piss poor descriptions. It was a crapshoot and I've gotten smoked a few times too.
Offer a 7 day no hassle return.
Ship USPS priority WITH DELIVERY CONFIRMATION!! I always let my buyers known when their purchase shipped and send them the confirmation number. Offer insurance as an option.
Overseas shipping can get squirrelly. I shipped a package to Taiwan many years back and it took three months for the guy to receive it.
Set up a separate bank account for PAYPAL. Keep the balance in it LOW. PAYPAL will pull your money out faster than a cat can lick his butt if the buyer raises a stink even if he has no leg to stand on. Offer to accept "alternative payments" PMO's or checks ( advise them you will wait until it clears, but they are aware of that) in addition to ebay's mandated PAYPAL scam. That is legal according to ebay's rules..
