    Default Economy shipping?

What sort of packaging could justify this amount of postage for a one ounce item? I wonder how much it would cost to send it overnight.

USPS small box priority is $5.25 and the post office provides the box. Delivery confirmation adds 50 or 60 cents I think.

The deal listed sounds to me like they're either charging $$ for their time or planning on making a bit more off the shipping of that LOVELY box.

if you buy it for a dollar, you pay a whopping 7.15 If it ships first class, inside another box, its likely going to run the guy 1.75 now minus the ebay fees .75 and the paypal fees .30 and the dollar the box probably cost the guy to begin with... means the seller will have made maybe 3 dollars and 50 cents for his time spent purchasing, photographing, auctioning and packing up and mailing. Yes, he COULD ship it in a priority box for that, but then what would he make (if anything at all)
Guess I'm just playing devils advocate
Of course, if he were to ship it in a plain large envelope and the box got crushed in transit I would have to find him and punch him in the throat....
