S&M was founded in Gowanda, NY in 1890 and moved to Titusville in 1895 closing their doors in the early 1930's. Assets were purchased by former employees who named the new venture Queen City Cutlery and that company gave rise to what is now Queen Cutlery. Todays' knives are produced at the site of the old S&M plant.

It isn't all that old but it is a neat piece of American steel from a bygone era
