Puma Gold, is that what they are made of?
considering the recent prices on these:
Straight razor PUMA GOLD Solingen Excellence! | eBay
STRAIGHT RAZOR PUMA GOLD 6/8 with original BOX | eBay
Or are speculators driving up the market?

Those are among the more rare and collectible pumas, but that's too much IMO

A lovely piece of shaving history, and not all that expensive yet IMHO

Thanked: 1936Good grief, you will NEVER catch me giving that for a razor. Maybe 10% of that...then I would think long and hard about it!

I sold a beauty (Puma Gold) in the SRP classifieds awhile back for way less than that. That is cool though, since I paid way less. They are a nice razor as most Pumas are.

I came across one of these a little while ago in excellent condition. they wanted $80 for it and wouldn't come down so I passed on it, I might see if it is still there.

Dunno, my 1" puma sold for $600 so these golds being far more common and in worse condition should be going for less, but that's if bidders were rational.
