    Default Call me a skeptic

    Something about this razor seems off. If it weren't for the look of the stamping, I would never have questioned it.

    To me it almost seems like a razor was restored, the stamping was removed, then re-added. Notice the grain of the steel on the close up of the tang? I'd say this is a solid but failed attempt at a forgery for a quick $100.

    looking into it further, DOVO made some new Blackies and this may be one of them. Haven't been able to find a photo for comparison though

    It is new, IMO. The woods are full of new CMon Cadillacs. I am sure they brought back the Blackie as well. The reviews on the Caddys are not so good from what I have read.
