Looks like there might be a bit of a nick at the tip there. But still, good catch if you're willing to spend some time on the 1,000 grit.

Thanked: 324I think Bokers are severely undervalued. But that will change as people become more familiar with them as shavers. Boker Tree-Brand is one of the most respected names in German Cutlery and every Boker I've had has been a good shaver. Maybe they're undervalued because the curent fashion is for large razors and the Bokers are almost always 5/8 or 6/8.
I think you did quite well on that auction.

I have two bokers, both king cutters, one in shave ready condition. Definitely a dandy shaver, I'm sure you'll be very happy with that steal

I recieved it in the post ,and yes the was a rather large nick at the end . I ground about 1/16" or a tad more off the edge ,re honed and have had a few shaves with it now, what can I say ,its a boker

They are lovely shavers. I was sorry to let that one go and ship it off to the UK but then I remembered I have 2 more identical ones and I can keep one for myself
