Default Anyone interested in a Six out of Seven day set?

A local antique shop I frequent has a seven day set that is missing the Tuesday razor (they actually put a completely different brand to take it's place so you still get 7). I can't remember the brand but they are sheffield steel. Round or french point, maybe 5/8 or 9/16 because they had been honed quite a bit, double stabilizers, top and bottom jimps, days engraved down the top of the spine, I don't remember if there was an etch on the blades. Off of the few I looked at they were very clean blades (free of rust and no chips), so I assume the rest of the set looked decent. Scales were cream colored and I am fairly certain they were plastic, no grain patterns like celluloid or ivory. Price was listed as $150. If anyone is TRULY interested PM me and I can go get pictures ASAP, but please don't make me go through the hassle if you're only semi interested.

    Thanks for the heads up.
If you want to post some pics in this thread it's ok but maybe you could also post the name of the shop or a link & let people do their own hunting saving you any hassles ?
It could get messy if you became the middleman.

yeah i thought I'd be nice, I guess I could go take pics tomorrow and pass along the shop info to any interested. they don't have pics of them online so I'll go snap good ones showing the stuff us razor collectors want to see.

Okay so a couple changes to what I explained before. First is there are only 5 out of the 7 day set. The oddball razor stuck in there makes 6. They DO have a blade etch, and 4 out of the 5 days have the original scales with are very thin and are either bone or ivory. The days left are Sun, Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri. Upon inspection it almost seem like someone polished the blade faces and sides of the tang, although no discoloration from excessive heat is seen. But then the spine and top/bottom of the tang are still in need of some light cleaning.

    Maker: C. Barrett & Co / 158 Strand
Blade Etch: The Universities / Extra Hollow Ground
    Country: Made in Sheffield

the oddball is a Genco Velvet in decent condition as well.

Difference in scales from top to bottom, Sun - Fri. Sunday is rescaled, Thursday looks repinned and cracked at the wedge. Originals have lead wedges and Sunday has black plastic (I think) -

Genco showside of tang (note that is grease of some sort on the tang, not rust) -

    Great pics TO.
Now, just a subtle reminder to anyone that's interested in these. Even tho TO is not the seller, please keep all sales related enquiries to PM.
    Thanx Gents.
