My apologies I was not aware that trolling had evolved. Back in the day it used to be synonymous with fish trolling or trawling

"trolling for newbies," popularized in the early 1990s in the Usenet group, alt.folklore.urban. Commonly, what is meant is a relatively gentle inside joke by veteran users, presenting questions or topics that had been so overdone that only a new user would respond to them earnestly.

I recognize troll has gone urban and will adapt. I only meant to point out that there were more thorough threads on this topic.
Thanks for the heads up and mea culpa.

As Creel implied, there's probably 50 threads in the forum on this topic alone... use the search function to find them if you want all the gory details. But you'll not find consensus on this subject.

If you want 100% absolute certainty that you kill every nasty that could possibly be on your razor blade in any and every situation you'll probably have to destroy the razor to achieve that.

However, it's likely that all of the nasties will be long dead before the razor gets to you... most die outside the body in 30-min or less and/or are killed by lack of moisture. For additional protection, if you scrub the razor in hot soapy water and let it dry well you will have washed away/killed almost anything that remains. Hepatitis is an exception, however, in that it can live for a considerable amount of time (as long as 2-weeks I've read)... so in the unlikely event that scrubbing missed it, you may want to take additional action. Hence, most of us use a commercial disinfectant like Cippercide or Barbicide, others use a weak bleach solution, etc.
