    Default Thinning out the herd...

So I'm about to put about a dozen straights up for sale, would you recommend the classified's here or the bay? I know I can't do both so I'd like to put them in the best place.

a few Wosty's, a W&B, a Duck, and a few other great shavers. All of which are in good to great shape.

If this is in the wrong place or out of line in posting, please let me know. I wouldn't want to offend or break any rules.

    Thanks,

    Jon

If they'd be good blades for new users, and you can make them shave-ready, it'd be nice to put them in our Classifieds. We usually advise new users to avoid the 'bay, since there are so many sellers there who don't know shave-ready from shiny.

As far as which will give you the best price or the quickest sale, I have no idea. I'll leave that for others to answer.

    Best wishes.

That's actually a good idea. I'll put a few good shavers up here at a decent price to help the new members out.

I know, personally, if I'd prefer to buy from a member here over the bay

As a new guy who recently purchased a razor from the classifieds here, I second the opinion that you should put a few good, fairly inexpensive razors up on the classifieds. It really gives us new guys a chance to ask the seller questions and there's a definite level of trust and understanding about what is being sold on SRP, as opposed to places like eBay. That open communication and trust really helps us new guys out big time! And of course, we appreciate it a ton!!

I would put anything you wish to sell on here first and maybe give it a week or two then move it to the bay if you don't get any hits. I would give the people here first dibs on it.
