Who's been blocked by a bay seller...me!me! me!
This is a first for me. It's been a while since I bought anything razor related on the bay.. So I happen to be searching around looking and had something catch my eye.
I sent a few questions to the seller about his description and his return policy.
So I determined a price I could live with (even if the item was correct) and placed my sniper bid.
It ends and I check it out, much to my surprise I had been blocked by the seller
I can only assume one of 2 things. 1) the description wasn't accurate 2) he took offense to my "return" question..
Unbelievable...
Since this was a first for me I thought I would see if others had a similar experience.

Thanked: 5I've been blocked by a seller for having the effrontery to return a DE razor that was in a not as described condition.
It made me chuckle as well.

Thanked: 109Consider being blocked for nonsensical reasoning a blessing. You really don't want to negotiate a problem purchase with a headcase. I have an affinity for those who find it necessary to frame everything in biblical terms.
YMMV
It just keeps getting better

I was blocked by a seller because i had the down right cheek of asking the seller about the shipping cost, how dare I, and then later i went to pull the trigger on a mint C Mon razor he was selling as a buy now and believe me it wasn't cheap, and was blocked from buying it, well all i can say to him is up yours mate your loss is my gain. If that's the kind of business you run you can stick it where the sun dont shine.
Jamie.

I was blocked by a seller for sending him a message that his "Fillarmonica?Wade&Butcher?" which was actually a really nice Genco would probably sell a bit better if he would give an accurate description rather than misleading people into believing it was something that it wasn't.

I'd probably be better off if Ebay totally blocked me.
I've thought of blocking Ebay, but I don't have the willpower.

A friend of mine sent a message asking about an item (razor) and the seller blocked him. I guess the seller foresaw a possible problem ? Anyway, I had a worse experience. I recently bought an item, paid immediately with paypal. A week later , having not received the item I sent what I meant to be a sarcastic message ....."Have you had a chance to mail this yet ?"
The guy replies that it is going to go out tomorrow ! I responded ..... "What is the hurry ?" He refunded my money and said that he felt it was best all around. I told him that 'bid is a contract' works both ways and technically he is obligated to complete the transaction but I was satisfied to pass on it.
Since ebay initiated that policy where the buyer can leave a neutral or negative but the seller can only leave a positive or nothing they are gun shy.

Thanked: 38I sell and buy on the bay and there are some shady sellers trying to sell misrepresented products. Better to be blocked than get into a transaction that will turn into a headache for you.
