    Default Koch and Schafer?

I just won my second ebay razor earlier today: Koch & Schafer "KAMA." The seller said the blade width is 1". Looks like some blade wear but for $22.50 how'd I do?

This should arrive next week along with the Wostenholm (same seller). I'm going to clean these up and then they're off to Joe Chandler for honing (thanks Joe!). I think with these two and the Dovo I bought from Flounder I should be set for razors ... at least for a little while.

I haven't shaved since last Sunday waiting on my new razors. Hopefully the order I put in with Colleen will come in about the same time as my Dovo - if so, my next shave could be my very first "manly whisker whackin'." Heeeey, there's a sig line!

I didn't realize that was a Kama when I first heard about it. I had one of those before that was just an outstanding shaver. I feel positive you'll be very happy with it.

After you hone it, I'm sure I will be! This is the one I might tinker with eventually. I've got a set of scales I picked up at the 2002 BLADE Show that would look great with a blade this big.

$22.50? You, sir... are a thief. Since Joe is an ossifer, it may be confiscated and held indefinitely as evidence... bet you didn't know that.

And it should be passed on for a detailed inspection of the evidence

Awwww, you're killing me! I was about to order some Flitz when it occured to me ... I HAVE A C&R LICENSE!!! Heavy discounts at Brownell's and Midway USA . Got the 5oz tube of Flitz and a 20 piece Dremel polishing kit for about $25. I highly recommend getting a C&R License, best $30 I've ever spent and it's good for three years.

9.5 yrs is pretty good going. I wonder what the cost of the license and products is now.
