Thanked: 0"Klihaso?" First eBay acquisition...
After a couple of weeks getting started with the ERN I picked up from Alex, I decided it's time to expand the rotation a little bit. Found this guy mislabelled as a "soungen" blade and snagged it for ten bucks. Says "KLIHASO" encased in a stylized oval on the other side of the shank. Seems like a 4/8; what with just starting out I'm thankful for the round tip, and I'm looking forward to a- scrubbing off what little surface rust there is and b- figuring out how to hone without destroying it using the Swaty I eBay'd the previous week. Did I get snookered, or are these reasonable expectations? Anyone heard of this Klihaso brand?

Thanked: 2If it's a vintage solingen blade, you should be fine. I couldn't find any info on Klihaso, but it sounds like it could be a trademark rather than the company name. Klihaso was not listed as a company in Goin's, though that's not an absolute no.
Good luck.
