Thanked: 3Too good to be true?
So searching the bay tonight stumbled upon this seller. He sells custom damascus knifes and razors he had a few straights too but hes selling them for 40 bucks. Hes got good feedback but nobody really says how they shave or anything. I'm under the impression that these razors are probably crap but knows tell me what you think Custom hand Made Damascus Steel Folding razor 2C7 | eBay

You pretty much answered your own question 'Too good to be true?'
It's a good letter opener but stay clear for shaving.

i bought a "laguoile" style "damascus steel" knife off ebay a while back, well knowing it was made in pakistan and that's why it was priced the way it was, and not $450 dollars. it just looked cool, even if i knew it wasn't the right thing. i carried in my pocket for about a week recently and the blade started looking a little funky so last night i hit it with some Maas. Damascus steel no more! took the pattern right off it. must have been etched or something.
